Homeschooling Coverage

Our experience:
1) Our co-op & Odyssey of the Mind group are racially & religiously diverse
2) We have so many social experiences, that we almost feel "over" socialized. Anyone who clings to this red herring has never investigated the truth about homeschooling.
3) You don't have to be wealthy (buying $700 boxes of curriculum) to homeschool--the local libraries supply everything you need! Used book sales often include public school curriculum that has aged-out of the library, but is perfectly relevant for someone with a limited budget. The Internet provides thousands of pages of free curriculum.
4) Our state requires children to test every year, to prove they are tracking with their public school peers.

Here is the local press coverage of a couple groups in which our family participates (I was interviewed).
